halloween - the good, bad and the goofy

i'm not sure i understand halloween. the doorbell rang so many times last night; i kept thinking the pizza man was here.

ding-dong. yea! its the pizza man!!! um, why is batman the ankle-biter on our porch?

then daddy gave him dots and snickers and he left.

ding-dong. yea! it must be the pizza man!! nope; its tinkerbell and pooh.

then daddy gave them tootsie rolls (which should have really gone to me) and they left.

ding-dong. this HAS to be the pizza man!! aaack! its a skeleton and a witch. i'm going to
     hide in the garage.

then momma gave them handfuls of candy and they left.

what exactly is going on here and WHERE have these little people taken the pizza man?

so, the good thing about halloween is i get tootsie rolls if i give momma the 'look how sad i am that i don't have any candy' and 'my blood sugar is low' looks.

the bad thing about halloween is momma dresses me up like super-mouse.

and the goofy thing about halloween is . . . well, you can see the picture of 'cheese' yourself below and she looks fairly happy about being dressed like the . . . well, i don't know what she is. kind of a bunny, i guess. but i've never seen a bunny with a feather boa. maybe one of the 'girls next door' (i love bridget from that show).

i don't know why momma doesn't dress up the cats. newman could be judy garland, leo could be the demon barber of fleet street and cuda is a dead ringer for spaghetti cat.

ok; gotta run. uncle bill is sitting on the couch and his feet are idle. i think he could make good use of them by rubbing my belly.

love and tootsie roll dreams,

daisy d.
