yesterday when we went for a walk really early in the morning, momma took us to the nature park with all the dirt and stuff and BUNNIES! i had just been dreaming about chasing bunnies then we saw about 47 jazillion of them in the field! see? dreams do come true. those little suckers are fast though. i tried to chase down a couple, but they ran into the middle of this bunch of bushes and i couldn't get my considerable rump in there.
speaking of bushes, lindy's motto this week is this: 'two balls in the bush is better than one ball in the mouth'. when we walk in the baseball fields, lindy always finds random balls in the bushes next to the tennis courts. last night, she went in with one golf ball and came out with a tennis ball and a baseball. she lost her golf ball though. there's also critters in those bushes, but we can't seem to dig them out of there. whatever they are, they're good hiders and they smell fancy, like pooh and feet.
even though i love the bunnies, i think i like walking in the ball fields better. there's always a bunch of knee-biters there who like to throw the ball for me and they leave a lot of leftover goodies behind. just the other day, lindy and i found a half-eaten, ant-covered glazed donut. it was one of the best donuts i ever had (except it stung a little). we also found part of a taco, some potato chips, a carrot (i spit this out), some cheese, 2 week old lunch meat and a few chocolate covered raisins. lindy and i sucked all the chocolate off the raisins, then spit those out too.
i heard daddy say he's making fajitas tonight; i hope there are leftovers.
momma played 'treat patrol' with us this week. i LOVE this game. lindy is too stupid to figure it out, so i always end up finding all momma's hiding spots.
ok, gotta run. i just remembered where i buried a bone a couple of weeks ago.
