we were having a nice walk really early this morning and lindy and i chased something that was crawling around in the bushes. well, then we found a hole in the fence and ran through it. and when we looked around we were in this parking lot where we've never been before. there were a bunch of apartments and we saw this nice looking guy getting into his truck, so we got in with him. he was a little surprised but he looked friendly and like he might have bacon in his pocket. but then we heard momma yelling for us and saying she didn't have time for this kind of thing. um, whatever momma. and momma came stomping (she's had a lot of christmas cookies this year; she's not very dainty anymore) up the hill telling us to 'git over here NOW!' so the nice man (no bacon) let us out of his truck, but we couldn't figure out how to get back through the fence. and with all the yelling momma was doing, we were a little confused. long story short, we finally made it back through the fence and down the hill, but our walk was ruined by momma's stress. then we met a couple of other dogs, one named diego and one named scott (really). lindy growled and the hair stood up on her back and she chased them (she really doesn't like other dogs in our field). then we went home and had breakfast.
tonight, we had another walk (audrey came too!) and we chased a couple of other dogs in the ball fields. then there was pizza and pancakes for dinner. this just might be my favorite dinner ever.
time for my beauty sleep.
