dead critter update

there was a dead mouse (his name was bubba) in the garage this morning; this time, it was newman who did it. newman didn't rip his guts out or anything; he just sat on bubba and smothered him with his big rear end. bubba looked peaceful, but i'm sure he wasn't ready for his life to end. i'm thinking lindy and i shouldn't try to make friends with the mice cause its a very short-lived friendship.

forgot to mention that we went to the dog beach this weekend; it was a different beach though. a little smaller. still has the crazy attack-water though. lindy tried to steal everyone's balls. i met some new friends there too (two dogs named scooter and spot), but lindy ran them off (she can be very jealous of my affections for others). then lindy lost her own ball in the rocks so we went home.

i forgot to mention the best thing! now audrey lives with us! really, i'm her dog, but she left me to stay with momma a long time ago; but now we're all together again. i LOVE audrey cause she stays home with me and pats my head a lot and rubs my belly. she's much nicer than momma. so one of my christmas wishes did come true. i just hope audrey doesn't go and get one of those job things where she has to get off the couch and can't keep us company all day.

today's new year's resolution is to perfect my 'puppy pout' in order to get more candy / cheese / crackers / jumbones / steakbones / cheese tots (this is my new obsession).
