we still haven't found newman yet. as you can see, i'm keeping watch for him (in between snacks and lite snoozes). uncle leo seems to be fairly comfortable with the fact that newman is missing. but lindy and i are holding out hope that he's still out there somewhere. i was thinking that maybe he ran away on purpose. he's always liked san francisco and now that we're in the same state, maybe he's gone there. is a long way though.
we've seen a whole mess of bunnies again. yesterday we chased one into the bushes and yanked momma to the ground. it was incredibly funny, but just to lindy and i. momma was not amused and told us so. when lindy and i realized we weren't going to catch the rabbit, we laughed and laughed at momma. really, she can be klutzy at times. momma says there are snakes in the bushes and maybe we'll get what's coming to us. um, momma? i'm bigger than a snake and i'm pretty sure i can take one.
so far, i like california, but i haven't seen any happy cows. i haven't seen any squirrels either. the squirrels must have left the state cause they were scared of me and craziness (lindy). they must have heard from their squirrel cousins in texas about our incredible fearlessness and extreme rodent torture. if they're still here, we'll find them and run them out of town.
today i played a magic trick on momma and sneaked into the front yard from the back. she was worried cause i didn't come running when she called me. but i'm not telling my secret. she can just keep thinking that i 'brought the sneak' on her. hahahahahaha.
gotta run; daddy has his walking shoes on and there are rabbits to chase.
love,
daisy
